Enrico IV Etna Bianco DOC is a refined white wine produced by Cantine Valenti. It is made with Carricante grapes, a native Sicilian grape variety, grown in the volcanic soils of the Santo Spirito district, on the slopes of Mount Etna.

The grapes are harvested by hand and subjected to controlled maceration before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages in barriques for approximately six months, before being bottle-aged for at least three months.

Cellar - Valenti

Cantine Valenti is a historic Sicilian winery with a winemaking tradition rooted in the heart of Mount Etna. Founded in the 1990s, the company has always stood out for the high quality of its wines, the result of a careful selection of native grape varieties and meticulous attention to agricultural practices. The winery is located in Castiglione di Sicilia, in the Etna Natural Park, an area recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its uniqueness and biodiversity. The vineyards are located at approximately 600 meters above sea level, where the microclimate and volcanic soils give the wines a unique complexity and minerality.

The Etna region is central to the winery's philosophy, which firmly believes in the authentic expression of the grape variety through the soil, climate, and local culture. The winery employs sustainable and organic practices, striving to respect the environment and the area's natural heritage. Mount Etna is a central element in the winery's history and life, and its mineral-rich soils give the wines the freshness, acidity, and structure that make them recognizable and appreciated around the world.

Cantine Valenti grows a variety of Sicilian grape varieties, including Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Cataratto, and Grecanico, authentically expressing the Etna terroir in every bottle. Production is limited to ensure the quality and care required for each individual label.

Over the years, Cantine Valenti has received numerous international awards, cementing its position as one of Etna's leading wine producers. Its philosophy is based on the combination of innovation and tradition, constantly striving to improve the quality of its products while maintaining its deep connection to Sicilian history and culture.
