The secret of this wine lies in the beneficial effects of Mediterranean winds. The base is made from excellent Inzolia grapes, which, thanks to these breezes, retain their innate marine character, giving us a fresh and mineral wine. Both typical and modern. In this case, the grapes are harvested early in the morning to avoid damaging the precious and delicate aromatic heritage typical of the variety. In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Once this phase is complete, the wine is left to mature on the fine lees and subjected to frequent agitation to bring the decomposing yeasts back into suspension. This allows for a richer and more harmonious structure, favoring a positive evolution of the characteristic aromas.

Tasting Notes

A straw-yellow wine with light greenish highlights, crystal clear and with a good consistency. In the glass, it releases a sensual aromatic palette reminiscent of tropical fruit (pineapple, lichti, and mango), lemon blossom, and citron, enriched with notes of aromatic herbs and a subtle minerality that lends complexity and elegance. On the palate, it is warm, smooth, and savory. The notes perceived on the nose are all present on the palate, with a freshness that lends great elegance and endless drinkability.

Cellar - Patrì

Cantine Patrì has solid roots, a tenacious history that began in the Butera area in 1936 when Rocco Paterna founded the farm. His son-in-law Giuseppe Patrì then took the reins with foresight and determination.
And with the same determination, years later, his son Rocco, his wife Patrizia and their children Giuseppe, Elisa and Daniela, decided to enhance the extraordinary winemaking heritage of Butera, allocating a third of the two hundred and fifty hectares of property to the production of wines.
Today, the company is a source of pride and a global ambassador, with its labels showcasing the expressive liveliness of the Riesi DOC, the Sicilia DOC, and the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG.
Quality classifications have a distinctive value in the winemaking world, but they also serve as a tool for transparency towards consumers and a key legislative tool for safeguarding and promoting the territory and agricultural traditions.

Cantine Patrì continually strives to achieve ever-higher quality standards for all its products. It maintains an environmentally responsible approach, rigorously managing its vineyards, and consistently pursues research and experimentation to showcase the region and its extraordinary vines with excellence, elevating the quality of each individual wine.
The Patrì family's passion for winemaking lies in the unique character of the land and its grapes, which, combined with expert human touch, are now capable of evoking sensations that only Sicily can offer, and meeting the needs of consumers seeking high-quality, elegant, well-structured, and Mediterranean red and white wines.
Cantine Patrì is a thriving company located in the Nisseno area, with 50 seasonal employees and a team of specialized agronomists who closely monitor all stages of cultivation and production.
The favorable climate, the interesting and varied heritage of grape varieties, and the high value of their chemical, physical, and organoleptic characteristics represent a great opportunity to broaden horizons and compete at the highest levels.
