Murgentia Bianco della Valle delle Ferle is a Sicilian white wine made entirely from a selection of native Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, vinified as a white wine to best express their freshest and most delicate notes. Grown at approximately 400 meters above sea level on alluvial soils rich in clay and stone, these grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected. Vinification takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, followed by six months of aging to preserve the wine's freshness and enhance its vivacity.

Winery - Valle delle Ferle
Valle delle Ferle Winery is a prime example of how Sicilian winemaking tradition can be reimagined through modern and sustainable practices, with profound respect for the land. Founded in 2016 by Claudia Sciacca and Andrea Annino, the winery is located in the heart of Sicily, in the Caltagirone area, one of the historic wine-producing regions of Sicily. The decision to invest in this area stems from an awareness of the extraordinary potential of the soil, which is perfect for native grape varieties such as Nero d'Avola and Frappato, the undisputed stars of the wines produced at the winery.
Over the years, Valle delle Ferle has undertaken a significant transformation, adopting organic practices starting in 2016, culminating in the organic certification of its vineyards in 2020. This commitment goes beyond simple cultivation, aiming to reduce environmental impact and respect the natural balance of the land as much as possible. Vineyard work is almost exclusively done by hand, using traditional techniques ranging from pruning to tying the vines, using natural materials such as disa (Ampelodesmos mauritanicus), and avoiding the use of plastic.
The company is known for producing Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG, Sicily's most celebrated red wine, as well as other high-quality wines such as Frappato and Nero d'Avola. Each wine reflects the incredible biodiversity of the area, which, thanks to the combination of altitude, wind exposure, and climatic contrasts, produces grapes with unique characteristics.
The winemaking process in the cellar emphasizes the use of indigenous yeasts and a low level of sulfites, ensuring fresh and natural wines. Each bottle is a tribute to Sicilian tradition, but also a product that looks to the future, with a profound connection to the land and the surrounding environment. Valle delle Ferle wines are authentic expressions of the Sicilian terroir and are perfect pairings with traditional Sicilian dishes, such as Pasta alla Norma, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
The winery has become known not only for the quality of its wines, but also for its commitment to sustainability and the promotion of a viticulture model that respects the environment and enhances local culture. Thanks to the dedication of the Sciacca-Annino family, Valle delle Ferle is now a reference point for those seeking an authentic and sustainable winemaking experience in Sicily.
