The nose explodes with an aromatic bouquet of ripe citrus, passion fruit, lime, and guava, intertwined with delicate herbaceous notes and fresh flowers. On the palate, the wine is energetic and well-structured, with a vibrant acidity that balances the rich tropical fruit notes. The finish is long and persistent, with a mineral note that recalls the purity of the Marlborough terroir.

Pairings

Ideal with fish, seafood, and fresh oysters. It also pairs well with summer salads, fresh cheeses like goat cheese, or delicately spicy Asian dishes like sushi or coconut curry.

Cellar - Greywacke

Greywacke is the personal project of Kevin Judd, one of the most illustrious names in New Zealand's winemaking scene. After contributing to New Zealand's international success with his work at Cloudy Bay, Kevin founded Greywacke in 2009 with the aim of creating wines that fully express Marlborough's identity. The winery's name is inspired by greywacke stones, a type of sandstone that characterizes the region's soil and contributes to the wines' mineral profile. Greywacke combines sustainable viticultural practices with innovative winemaking techniques to create authentic, high-quality wines, known and appreciated worldwide.
